Hitler Youth

The Hitler youth was a group of young German boys being taught the beliefs of Hitler. It took place in Berlin, Germany. They were a group of boys that Hitler wanted to make into "perfect" Germans. They aged from 10 to 18 years old. It was mandatory for the boys once they were 10. There training included marching, bayonet drill, grenade throwing, trench digging, map reading, gas defense, use of dugouts, and pistol shooting. There were also camps for girls. They were trained and prepared for motherhood. The girls also entered at the age of 10 and were in it until they were 18. The boys and girls were kept separated from each other.
